IUSTINIANUS PRIMUS LAW REVIEW is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access, online scientific journal published by the Faculty of Law “Iustinianus Primus” at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia. Its first volume was published in 2010.
IUSTINIANUS PRIMUS LAW REVIEW is published twice a year.
The Iustinianus Primus Law Review is indexed in EBSCO and HEINONLINE.
Mission and vision
IUSTINIANUS PRIMUS LAW REVIEW is an international scientific Journal which tackles most relevant and up-to date legal topics mainly focused upon the Macedonian legal system’s perspective. It publishes original papers which are relevant and interesting to the modern trends in the specific areas of law, journalism and political studies.
All accepted papers as free of article processing charges (APCs) and we do not request any article submission charges (ASC).
Guidelines for the authors
Authors should submit their articles electronically to the submissions@iplr.pf.ukim.edu.mk in Microsoft Word format. All manuscripts must be spell-checked and proofread prior to submission. All submissions must follow The Oxford University Standard for Citation of Legal Authorities (OSCOLA)

style for format and references (footnotes and endnotes are not permitted). Manuscripts should not exceed 8,000 words, including the abstract (which should be 200 to 300 words), references, and other elements.
The entire manuscript, including the abstract, the reference list, and any tables, should be presented as A4 size paper with single-spaced typescript in 12-point Times New Roman. It should begin with a cover page, giving the title of the paper, the name(s) of the author(s), institutional affiliation(s) and correspondence address(es), e-mail address(es), a suggested shorter title for running heads, and three to five keywords. On the next page, put the article title and the abstract then continue with the body of the article. All pages must be numbered. If tables are included, they must be created in Word, not Excel.
Submission
The accepted articles are published twice a year. There is open call for articles, while accepted articles will be published upon the acceptance eider in the summer or in the winter volume of the Journal, considering the time of submission. Accepted articles submitted until 1-st of May from the current year will be published within the summer volume of the current year; while accepted articles until 1-st of November will be published within the winter volume of the current year.
