It gives us great pleasure to inform you that the Institute of Economics – Skopje, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje is organizing the International Summer School in Econometrics, 7th – 13th August 2024 in Ohrid. The course in Econometrics will be held by the renowned professor in econometrics, Mustafa Özer, PhD, from Anadolu University, Eskişehir, Turkey.
This summer school is an excellent opportunity for a wide variety of professionals and students to gain valuable insights into quantitative and econometric analysis focused on practical applications that are relevant in macro- and micro-economics, and other fields such as tourism, political science, sociology, education, forestry and agricultural economics. The focus on applied regression analysis will give participants hands-on experience with real data and real analysis. By learning econometric methods and applications, participants will develop their analytical skills and the capacity to build the kind of predictive models that enhance decision making when faced with uncertainty in real world contexts.
